Head of Communications at the Office of the President, Eugene Arhin expresses allegations by North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa against President Akufo-Addo are simple publicity to score political unmistakable quality.
Mr. Ablakwa on Thursday, June 23 proudly blamed President Akufo-Addo for burning through €480,000.00 on his new excursion to Belgium and Kigali for a Pan-African Vaccine Manufacturing Project.
Albeit the Office of the President had denied these cases in a proclamation, the North Tongu MP said there can't be any "support at all for the grave heartlessness of President Akufo-Addo."
Yet, Eugene Arhin in another articulation on June 26 censured Mr. Ablakwa; adding that the MP "gives no proof or narrative evidence at all to back up his €480,000 cost guarantee, since he has none."
"By and by, clearly the Honorable Ablakwa views these assaults on the President as his pathway to political unmistakable quality through bad misleading publicity, not entirely settled to seek after this course, regardless of how crazy and offending his proclamations are."
Eugene Arhin noticed that Okudzeto Ablakwa's allegations are not "good natured" on the grounds that his cases are simply to "score modest political focuses to impel public estrangement against the President."
On the idea that President Akufo-Addo should decide on official planes for his movements as finished by other "less supplied nations", Mr. Arhin made sense of that the official planes of these "less enriched nations" are infinitely better to that of Ghana. "Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa states that "less enriched nations" keep on keeping confidence with their planes, and attempts frantically to contrast them and our official fly. Obviously, they would. As the Ranking Member on the Committee on Foreign Affairs in Parliament, he ought to know that the official planes of "less blessed nations" in the West African Region, for instance, are infinitely better to what Ghana, West Africa's second greatest economy, can flaunt."
As per Eugene Arhin, the MP's portrayal of President Akufo-Addo's movements as "meet me there" was a "dirty move".
He said the "meet me there" goes of the President have been of enormous advantage to the country. The advantages, he said incorporate; the foundation of the Google Artificial Intelligence Center in Africa in Ghana, the foundation of the Twitter HQ in Africa in Ghana, and bringing the whole US Congressional Black Caucus and the Speaker of the US Congress to Ghana among others.
"It is essential to put on record that the President's excursions since he accepted office in 2017, have been tremendously gainful to the country.
"The President's supposed "meet-me-there" has brought the whole US Congressional Black Caucus and the Speaker of the US Congress to Ghana, thusly spurring Africans in the Diaspora to come to Ghana, where some have chosen to make our country their subsequent home.
